JROTC stands for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, and the SF JROTC is affiliated with the army.

JROTC is a leadership and character development program with a mission to motivate young people to be better citizens. JROTC teaches high school students valuable life skills like leadership, teamwork, time management, public speaking, etc.

To ease up assumptions about recruiting into the military, there’s no obligation to join the military, ever. In fact, most of our cadets end up going to great colleges, trade schools, or straight into careers, carrying the skills they learned from this course and applying it to their careers.
